Kevin Alcántar

is a writer, director, and multi-disciplinary artist.

Inspired by a desire to bring stories to life through visual arts, Kevin pursued an education in Studio Art from UC Santa Barbara. As a creative, Kevin has expanded his artistic practice to include illustration, oil painting, graphic design, sculpture, and film photography.

Inspired by his Mexican-American upbringing and multi-ethnic South Central community, Kevin’s work explores the rich inner lives of everyday people and aims to highlight how grand stories can be found in the unlikeliest of places.

In his free time, you may find Kevin birdwatching, at the local cinema, running, or loitering around a taco stand.
